Sometimes it's the quiet stillness of an early morning walk. Sometimes it's the pages of a journal filled with prayers and answered promises. Sometimes it's the gentle beauty of a butterfly fluttering by, just when you need a reminder that God sees you. These everyday moments may seem small, but they often become the places where God speaks the loudest to our hearts.
That is the heart behind Normal Inspiration.
Normal Inspiration was created from a simple desire: to help women encounter God's truth in the middle of everyday life. We believe that faith isn't reserved for Sunday mornings. It is something we carry into our homes, workplaces, classrooms, coffee shops, and quiet moments with the Lord. Our hope is that every article, every design, and every product points back to the One who is our true source of hope and inspiration—Jesus Christ.
What made us believe God was leading us to start this business?
Ever since I was a child, I have wanted to start my own faith-based business. A few years ago, God had laid a dream on my heart to reach women in ministry and showed me what this business will look like years down the road. This came at a turning point in my college career and I and my family went into prayer about this and another family business. After months of prayer, God confirmed that we were to start the base company Normal Enterprises and her daughter Normal Inspiration.
How did Normal Inspiration get its name?
The name Normal Inspiration is not named because the mother company has the name “Normal” but because of our belief that inspiration can come from the ordinary. Normal means ordinary, typical, and usual. Many people look at the spectacular and extraordinary for inspiration, but what if we looked at normal life? Normal Inspiration is a reminder that inspiration doesn't have to come from extraordinary experiences. God faithfully meets us in the ordinary. He speaks through His Word, encourages us through His people, and reminds us of His presence in the beauty of His creation. When we begin looking for Him in our daily lives, we often discover that He has been working all along.
Why Butterflies?
One of those ordinary reminders for me has always been butterflies.
I chose to draw a butterfly as the logo because of its personal significance to me and I wanted to share it with others.
Every time I see a butterfly, I am reminded of God's love and His faithfulness. Just as a butterfly reflects transformation and new life, God continues His work of transforming our hearts as we walk with Him. That simple reminder has become woven throughout Normal Inspiration and serves as a symbol of the hope, beauty, and renewal we can find in Christ.
Why create a blog?
